Ingredients :
6 Red Chillies
1/2 Coconut Ground
3 Garlic cloves
1/2 Teaspoon Cumin seeds
2 Teaspoons Coriander seeds
5 Pepper corns
1/2 Teaspoon turmeric powder
1 Green Chilly Slit
1 Onion
1 Small tomato
Method :
- Blend Red Chillies, Ground Coconut, Garlic, Cumin seeds, Coriander seeds, Pepper corns and turmeric powder in a grinder
- Add a little water to the grinder
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add finely chopped onions to the pan and saute till it becomes brown
- Add the tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes are soft
- Now add the ground masala
- add water to the pan
- Add a pinch of saltfor taste
- Slit one chilly and add it to the curry
- Add tamarind water
- Stir and bring to a boil, and your Sorak is ready
You can enjoy your sorak with steemed rice and fried fish
